The first Derby Day of this academic year saw our students travel to Rugby School Japan for a high-energy day of competition — and Harrow Appi emerged as the overall champions! From dominant defence in junior boys’ basketball to a thrilling senior team comeback, our athletes set an impressive tone from the start.
Across badminton, tennis, and girls’ basketball, every match showcased determination and skill. The girls’ tennis team achieved a perfect record, badminton finished 1–1 overall, and the girls’ basketball team secured a confident win. On the football pitch, the girls claimed a 2–1 victory, while the boys delivered a dramatic match featuring a spectacular 25-yard free kick from Genki before Rugby found the final goal.
