excellenct igcse results of 2025
Harrow Appi Japan is delighted to share the excellent IGCSE results of our second-ever examination cohort. For the second consecutive year, 96% of our pupils achieved a top grade – a testament to the consistently high standards set by our Harrovians.
When compared with England-wide results, where 23% of grades achieved A*–A (9–7), the scale of our pupils’ success is striking. These results underscore the strength of our academic programme, the expertise of our Beaks, and above all, the commitment and ambition of our pupils.
We are equally proud to celebrate the individual honours our Harrovians have earned on the world stage:
- Two students achieved Top in the World for IGCSE Foreign Language Mandarin Chinese
- Two students achieved the Highest Mark in the World for GCSE Japanese
- Three students claimed the Highest Mark in Japan, across GCSE Further Pure Mathematics and GCSE Art and Design
- Four pupils received the Outstanding Learner Award for achieving Grade 7 or above in five or more subjects.

The 2025–26 academic year marks a historic milestone for Harrow Appi Japan: our first ever full Sixth Form cohort, bringing together both Year 12 and Year 13 students under one roof.
We are enormously proud to share the extensive range of university offers our graduating cohort of 34 students have received. Their achievements reflect not only their own dedication and talent, but the strength of the academic environment, personalised university counselling, and the world-class education they have received here at Harrow Appi Japan.
