International Cultural Day

We had an incredible time celebrating International Cultural Day — a vibrant event held in honour of Japan’s Culture Day (文化の日) and the wonderfully diverse community here at Harrow Appi Japan.

With 29 nationalities represented, 160 staff participating and over 300 students involved, our campus came alive with student-led stalls showcasing food, traditions, and stories from around the world. It was a true celebration of unity and cultural pride, bringing together students, staff, and visitors from the Hachimantai community.

Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and generosity, we raised over ¥300,000 for Mira no Mori, a non-profit organisation that creates life-changing outdoor programmes for abused, neglected, and orphaned youths in Japan.

A heartfelt thank you to all who made the day so special — a true reflection of the global spirit that defines Harrow Appi Japan.
