Furusato Tax Donation

The Furusato Nozei (Hometown Tax Donation Programme) is a scheme which allows residents of Japan to make contributions to their hometown or to municipalities (prefectures, cities, towns or villages) they wish to support. Through these donations, individuals are able to contribute to regional development.

When you make a donation under this programme, you will receive a thank you gift from the municipality together with an official donation receipt (kifukin juyō shōmeisho). By completing the necessary procedures, the portion of your donation exceeding 2,000 yen is eligible for income tax refunds and reductions in resident tax, up to certain limits.

Through donations made to Hachimantai City under the Furusato Nozei programme, 30% of the contributions are used to support the growth and development of Harrow International School Appi Japan. These funds help to provide essential items, enhance school facilities, and support a wide range of school activities.

Our school is featured on major websites introducing the Furusato Nozei programme. We kindly invite you to make your donation through the site of your choice.
