Our Art students recently spent an inspiring weekend in Tokyo, exploring creativity, culture, and connection.
Led by Mr Higgins, the group met representatives from Arts University Bournemouth who shared insights into their Art and Design courses, alongside alumni who showcased their work and spoke about their creative journeys. Students also explored the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art, featuring works by renowned artists Osgemeos and Barry McGee, before taking in the vibrant streets of Harajuku.
And of course — no trip to Tokyo is complete without great food! From pancakes to okonomiyaki, it was a weekend full of art, inspiration, and discovery.
Thank you, Mr Higgins, for an extraordinary weekend that brought art to life beyond the classroom!
