At Harrow Appi, each House is supported by a highly experienced and approachable team, who are consistently visible and available to students. The House Team are resident within the Boarding House, ensuring a strong pastoral presence throughout the day and evening.
- House Master/House Mistress Leads the House and oversees the wellbeing, development, and academic progress of all students. Acts as the primary point of contact for parents and ensures that each student thrives within the boarding community.
- Assistant House Master/Assistant House Mistress Supports the House Master in the day-to-day running of the House, helping to manage routines, pastoral care, and student activities. Provides guidance and mentorship to students alongside the House Master/Mistress.
- House Parent Offer hands-on support and care for students, helping them settle into boarding life, manage daily routines, and build strong relationships. They are central to creating a welcoming and nurturing environment. Our House Parents work particularly closely with our younger students to ensure they have that extra support to thrive in Boarding.
- Resident Tutor Are the bridge between the academic and pastoral life of our students. They work closely with House staff and academic tutors, to individually guide students with their studies, personal development, and social growth. They provide additional academic mentorship to ensure students’ language acquisition is fully supported both inside and outside the classroom.
