The Harrow Diploma offers students a meaningful opportunity to pause and reflect on their time at Harrow. Through engaging with a range of activities, projects and events, students are invited to consider not just what they have done, but what they have learned about themselves in the process. Reflection is one of the most powerful habits a person can cultivate at any stage of life, and the Diploma programme takes this seriously, creating a structured space in which students are encouraged to think deeply about their personal development over the course of the year.
the structure
The Harrow Diploma framework is designed to recognise and reward the commitment and progress of the personal development of students within and beyond their school experiences. It is based on purposefully designed progressive engagement with age-appropriate experiences which promote the development of values, attributes and skills that have come to epitomise Harrovians. The Diploma framework provides a journey of tracked holistic development that will ready our students, alongside academic qualifications, to be successful in the world they enter after school and to impact positively on the lives of others.

the process
Students begin by taking part in an activity, project, or event, before completing an online evidence form that links their experience to a specific diploma component. These submissions build into a personal portfolio, allowing students to monitor their progress over time. Upper Prep, Fifth Form, and Upper Sixth students also complete a Viva — a reflective conversation about their experiences and development. The journey concludes with an End of Year Celebration, which includes a special dinner recognising those who have achieved the highest marks.
