At Harrow Appi Japan, it is no secret that our students get to experience a school less ordinary. It is hard to show everything in a short campus tour: the mountain views, the snow, the boarding houses, and the way our students learn by doing.
Now your child has the chance to experience it for themselves. Our 6-day residential Winter Camp lets children live the real Harrow Appi Japan life. They will study in our classrooms, ski on our mountain, and sleep, eat and make friends in our boarding houses.
At this webinar, you will hear directly from the person who designed the programme: Mr Sam Scattergood, our Camp Leader and Harrow Appi Japan’s Head of Computer Science. He will explain how the camp works, what your child will build and learn, and why this week is such an exciting and valuable experience.

- The ski programme: Learn how daily ski and snowboard lessons work for all levels, from complete beginners to confident skiers.

Mr Scattergood will lead Winter Camp 2026 with his team. He is passionate about physical computing, AI and creative technology. He loves finding new ways to bring hands-on learning into our mountain setting.

Can a Robot Ski? Harrow Appi Japan Winter Camp 2026 is a 6-day residential camp for children aged 9–13. It takes place from 13 to 19 December 2026. Children learn robotics, coding and science in the morning, ski or snowboard in the afternoon, and enjoy boarding life in the evening.
